Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Respiratory Med Surg team. You will provide skilled nursing care under RN supervision and contribute to the care plan for patients across the life span.

As an LPN you will assess needs, document status, and support high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The position requires BLS within 14 days and adherence to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid LPN Oklahoma license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development over the life span and ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status.
• Participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards to deliver high quality patient care.
• Adhere to and abide by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.
