Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Gastrointestinal Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role involves providing nursing care under supervision to support patient needs in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma LPN license is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status.
• Participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and high quality patient care.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Oklahoma State LPN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
