Job summary
Resthaven is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for 3rd shift. Sign-on bonuses apply ($10,000 for FT, $5,000 for PT for LPN; $15,000 for FT, $7,500 for PT for RN). LPN/RN provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and manage resident care with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
- Successful completion of State Board licensure.
- Experience in long-term care or senior care preferred.
- Maintain nursing licensure active with CE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and implement resident care plans.
- Administer medications and pain management interventions safely.
- Monitor health status: vitals, wound care, skin integrity.
- Document and report changes in resident condition promptly.
- Follow physician orders accurately within timeframes.
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation and charting.
- Ensure infection control and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate with residents, families, and care teams.

- LPN | $28 - $32.44 + Shift Differential
- RN | $32.50 - $37.68 + Shift Differential
- Pay is based on experience and applicable licensure
- Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN
- 8 & 12 hour shifts available

- Provide direct nursing care and implement individualized resident care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and pain management interventions safely and accurately
- Monitor resident health status, including assessments, skin integrity, wound care, and vital signs
- Observe, assess, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition
- Execute physician orders accurately and within required timeframes
- Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation and clinical charting
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and all State and Federal healthcare regulations
- Respond effectively to urgent and emergent resident care situations using sound clinical judgment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Lead, delegate, and support CNA and clinical support staff while fostering teamwork and accountability
- Assist with staffing coverage and provide unit support as needed
- Deliver comprehensive shift reports to ensure continuity of care
- Provide exceptional resident-centered customer service by exceeding resident and family expectations
- Float between units based on operational and resident care needs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) or nursing program
- Successful completion of State Board of Nursing licensure examination
- Previous LPN/RN nursing experience preferred, ideally in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, or senior care.
- Experience working with geriatric or elderly populations preferred
- Must maintain all continuing education requirements to keep nursing licensure active and in good standing
- Participates in ongoing learning, professional development, and required in-service training
- Current, active Michigan Board of Nursing License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
