The Masonic Home of Virginia is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to direct CNAs in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents at the Richmond campus. This part-time position supports a continuing care retirement community with a focus on compassionate, resident-centered care.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of healthcare experience, knowledge of nursing care practices, and strong communication skills to liaise with residents, families, and healthcare

Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to direct Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience, although experience in healthcare and a general knowledge of nursing care will be considered.

Previous experience in long-term care, a continuing care retirement community, or working with older adults is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with residents, staff, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare with at least 1 year in long-term care experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and move about in the work area and throughout the Home to accomplish tasks
• Express and exchange ideas via spoken word conveying information to others in an audible, accurate, and quick manner
• Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers

• Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force on occasions
