Arden Courts of West Delray is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN staffing to administer medications and treatments to residents and maintain related records. You will support the Health & Wellness team to ensure high-quality resident care in a gated memory care community in Delray Beach, FL.
The role requires a current active LPN license in the state, ability to meet physical demands, and experience in gerontological nursing, especially with dementia populations.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents and maintains related work records. The LPN also ensures resident’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines . As a member of the Health & Wellness team, you ensure industry-leading resident care.

Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Years of Experience: Gerontological nursing including dementia population preferred
Licensure: Current active LPN license in state of practice
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis; Full use of hands, arms, and legs (for writing and medication administration); Ability to read thermometers, charts and testing equipment
