CorrectHealth currently has an exciting PRN opportunity to join our growing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Douglasville, GA. The role includes a $5/hr shift differential for all hours worked and part-time scheduling.

As an LPN, you will support clinical care under supervision, adhere to nursing standards, and collaborate with the healthcare team and law enforcement in a correctional environment. GA licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
• Maintains a current LPN license in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certified.
• Corrections experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participates in clinical patient care with the healthcare team and law enforcement.
• Performs duties under RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, or physician supervision.
• Maintains nursing standards and ethics per state boards and accrediting agencies.

Description

CorrectHealth currently has an exciting PRN opportunity to join our growing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Douglasville, GA! Additional $5/hr differential for all hours worked.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the clinical aspects of the patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Performs duties under the supervision of the RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC. Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment. Maintains standard and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.

Job Qualifications:

Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program. Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment. American Heart Association BLS certified. Corrections experience a plus.
