• Maintains nursing service objectives, goals, and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing patterns with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Manages equipment and supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments and coordinates tasks.
• Oversees staff functions and activities.
• Evaluates staff performance and initiates actions.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
