Job summary

Willowdale Health Services is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with new increased wages of $32.00–$36.50 per hour. The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/casual opportunities across all shifts, with hands-on training and ongoing support for new graduates.

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the LPN provides resident-centered nursing care, performing assessments, implementing plans of care, and evaluating outcomes to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license and CPR certification.
• Compassion for older adults with a team-first approach.
• Ability to calculate medication dosages and use nursing equipment.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Nursing experience preferred; new graduates welcome with training.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
• Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, care for a group of residents during a shift.
• Calculate medication dosages and use standard nursing equipment.
• Maintain compliance with health requirements and documentation.
