Job summary

BrightStar Care of East & NW Columbus is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide private duty home care in the Westerville, OH area. This role focuses on one-on-one patient care, with emphasis on seizure and G-tube experience, in a home setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Ohio LPN license, CPR certification, and possess excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills to support the patient's health and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio LPN license in good standing.
• Experience with seizure care and G-tube/enteral feedings.
• CPR certification and strong assessment/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in the patient's home.
• Perform tracheostomy (trach) care and suctioning as needed.
• Manage G-tube feedings and care.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Monitor and document patient condition and nursing interventions.
• Communicate effectively with the patient's family and healthcare team.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment.

Schedule

We are hiring for:

• Day Shift: 12PM-4PM

Coverage is needed Monday through Friday. Full-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in the patient's home
• Perform tracheostomy (trach) care and suctioning as needed
• Manage G-tube feedings and care
• Administer medications as ordered
• Monitor and document patient condition and nursing interventions
• Communicate effectively with the patient's family and healthcare team
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Experience with seizure care required
• Experience with G-tube care and enteral feedings required
