Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group is seeking an overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our geriatric care team. The role involves administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support in a fast-paced environment. Shift is 7 PM to 7 AM, full-time with 3–4 shifts weekly.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, communicates well with patients and families, and can multitask across ADLs. Prior long-term or assisted living experience is a plus; active state licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN by the state.
• No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Experience collaborating within a team environment is important.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about health care maintenance.
• Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
