Job summary

Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide care for residents in the Skilled and Long Term Care Units, administer medications (including IVs) and monitor outcomes.

You will take vital signs, educate residents and families, and communicate with physicians, NPs and other health care professionals while supervising CNAs. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with competitive pay and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents in the Skilled Unit and Long Term Care Unit.
• Administer medications, including IVs, and monitor responses.
• Take and record vital signs regularly.
• Deliver resident care and treatments with outcome monitoring.
• Educate residents and families on care plans.
• Communicate with physicians, NPs, families and health care professionals.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure quality of care.
