Job summary

Arden Courts in Sarasota is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer medications and treatments and maintain resident care records. You will ensure needs are met per physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory guidelines, as part of the Health & Wellness team.

The role offers part-time hours with no waiting period for benefits, uniforms, discounts, EAP, PTO, holiday premium pay, and more for PT staff. A Florida LPN license is required and background screening is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Clear reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English clearly.
• Gerontological nursing experience including dementia population preferred.
• Licensure: Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• Background screening as required by Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents and maintains related work records. The LPN also ensures resident’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines . Requirements

Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Years of Experience: Gerontological nursing including dementia population preferred
Licensure: Current active LPN license in state of practice
