Job summary

Gardens of Somerset in Monroe, LA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part‑time and full‑time roles. You will deliver compassionate nursing care in a warm, resident‑centered setting, administer medications, document care, monitor conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires an active LPN license, a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of nursing experience, and CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience required.
• Assisted living or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Promote resident dignity, independence and rights at all times.

What You'll Do

As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our residents by:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Responding appropriately and effectively during medical emergencies

Qualifications

• Ability to meet all healthcare screening requirements, including tuberculosis testing
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
