Tampa Lakes Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lutz, FL is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time and part-time roles. The center emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care and a collaborative nursing team.

AHCA background screening is required, with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities. Walk-in interviews are held Monday–Friday from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM at 750 Hayes Rd, Lutz, FL 33549.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license
• IV Certification required
• Two years nursing experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Admissions, discharge and transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Follow infection control, emergencies, and center policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide optimal outcomes
• Identify and report abnormal changes in residents’ condition
• Work under state Nurse Practice Act and center policies
• Deliver nursing care for long-term or rehabilitative care
• Collect patient data, make observations and report pertinent information
• Implement and evaluate the care plan as per state regulations
• Direct and supervise care given by other nursing personnel in suitable cases
• Maintain necessary documentation and equipment knowledge

Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include:

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State or Multistate License
• CPR Certification required
• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
