Ybor City Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tampa, FL is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our 80-bed skilled nursing facility. We offer daily pay, health and dental options, 401(k), flexible scheduling, and 24/7 telemedicine to support employees and families.

Walk-in interviews are welcome Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. Must bring Photo ID, Social Security Card, current nursing license, and IV certification; CPR certification is required and prior nursing experience is

Qualifications

• LPN license required in Florida or multi-state license.

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Follow infection control, emergencies, and center policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide optimal outcomes
• Report abnormal changes in residents’ condition per center policy
• Deliver nursing care for long-term or rehabilitative residents
• Collect patient data, observe and report pertinent information
• Implement and evaluate patient plan of care per state regulations
• Direct and supervise care by other nursing staff as appropriate
• Maintain documentation requirements and equipment knowledge
• Ensure confidentiality and patient rights.

Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include:

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State or Multistate License
• CPR Certification required
• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
