Sutton Park Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New Rochelle, NY is seeking a Part-time LPN to join our weekend coverage. The role requires weekend availability and supervision by a registered nurse or doctor.

The ideal candidate is compassionate and patient-focused for diverse basic care. You will record histories, monitor vitals, assist with daily activities, administer medications and injections, and support families.

Formación

• LPN license required in NYS.
• Weekend availability and some holidays required.
• Experience providing diverse basic care is preferred.

Sutton Park Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing has an ongoing need for Part-time LPN's

Shift available: 7-3 & 3-11

CPT approved site

This position is Part-time with no benefits

The successful LPN candidate will be available on weekends,and some holidays.

You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse ordoctor. LPN professionals must be first and foremost qualified andcompassionate.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diversebasic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. It is ademanding job but also very rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Recorda patient’s medical history accurately
• Takeand record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observepatients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medicationsetc.
• Monitorpatients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patientcharts
• Assistaiding patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administerinjections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress woundsand assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collectsamples for lab testing as assigned
• Provideemotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicatewith patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and releaseinstructions

Requirements:

• Valid NYS LPN License

Salary:

$41.84 per hour
