Location & Hours

Location: Lancaster, PA

Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift. 32 hours/week (0.8 FTE). Hours will fall Monday-Friday between 6:30am to 4:00pm. No weekend, holiday or on-call requirements.

Compensation

Sign-on Bonus: $2,500, based on FTE status.

Position Summary

To provide nursing services to patients at a provider’s office, including care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Essential Functions
  • Provides clinical advice via phone/electronic correspondence based on clinical judgments and triage protocols.
  • Provides patient education on preventive care, chronic disease management, medications, etc.
  • Prepares patients for visits, administers injections and medications, assists with procedures, performs Point of Care Testing, collects specimens, and manages test tracking.
  • Assists with care plan reviews, follow-ups, outreach, referrals, and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Acts as a patient experience advocate, maintains confidentiality, and ensures exam room readiness.
Secondary Functions
  • Performs front office duties, may require regional travel, and participates in on-call responsibilities.
Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of LPN or RN program, current PA licensure, AHA CPR/BLS certification within 30 days, ability to travel regionally.

Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years in primary or specialty care, triage or emergency nursing experience.

Skills & Abilities

Strong attention and concentration, memory, problem-solving, adaptability, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and work in potentially hazardous environments with proper safety measures.
