JOIN OUR TEAM AS A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)!

We offer 100% employer-paid benefits or additional pay if you opt-out! Plus, generous shift differentials of $1.50 to $3.00 more hourly for weekday, overnight, weekend days, and weekend overnight shifts.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with rotating weekends.

How will you make a difference? Are you passionate about patient care and helping others? Join Lake Behavioral Hospital as an LPN. You will work collaboratively with our health team and under the supervision of registered nurses, providing nursing care according to our standards and practices. Help us deliver exceptional psychiatric care.

• Document patient information and changes in condition
• Alert RNs of changes needing reassessment
• Administer medication to patients
• Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies
• Orient patients to treatment programs and monitor activity, encouraging participation
• Use facility-approved CPI techniques

What we’re looking for:

• Graduate from an accredited LPN program with an active license in Illinois
• Minimum of one year experience in psychiatric nursing preferred; six months in specialized areas is a plus
• Must pass medication administration exam; CPR certification and crisis intervention training required within 10 days of employment
