Job summary

Hazelhurst Court Care & Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved practical nursing program and hold a current LPN license from the State Board of Nursing.

Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred. The LPN will work with the Unit Director to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, supervise nursing staff, and handle daily unit operations during the night shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license issued by the State Board of Nursing.

Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) NIGHT SHIFT

Beacon Health Management is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work, providing both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary: In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
