Job summary

Beacon Health Management is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide both short term rehabilitation and long-term care in Hazlehurst, GA.

Under the Unit Director, the nurse develops and implements individualized Nursing Care Plans, supervises nursing staff, and participates in daily unit operations, assuming leadership responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse must be licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Educational/Vocational Requirements

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
