Job summary

FryeCare Neurology is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our neurology clinic team in Hickory, NC. This full-time role offers a Monday through Friday schedule (8:00am–5:00pm) with 40 hours per week and a supportive care environment dedicated to patient well-being.

Under supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assist with Botox authorizations, collect data for RN analysis, document care, and support providers with daily clinic

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina LPN license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must have critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Previous Family Medicine or Pediatric Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision by a registered nurse.
• Assist with Botox authorizations and medication management.
• Contribute to patient assessment by collecting data for RN analysis.
• Document patient care provided.
• Support clinic providers with overall needs of the clinic.

How you'll contribute A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:

• As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care to patients in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Assist with BOTOX authorizations and medicinal management.
• Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
• Documents patient care given.
• Supports providers with overall needs of the clinic.

What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state LPN license. High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional requirements include:

• Active North Carolina LPN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Previous Family Medicine or Pediatric Care is required.
