Job summary

Minden Medical Center is seeking an organized LPN/CMA to support Minden Physicians Practices in our Haughton Clinic. You will help keep patient flow smooth and deliver compassionate support to patients, providers, and teammates.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, preparing exam rooms, and updating Athena EHR. The schedule is 8am–2pm Tuesdays and 7am–7pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana LPN license or Medical Assistant certification
• Physician office experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) required within 90 days of hire
• Athena EHR familiarity preferred

• Room patients and take/document vital signs

The Opportunity

Minden Medical Center is seeking a well-organized, energetic LPN/ CMA to support Minden Physicians Practices in a fast-paced clinic setting in our Haughton Clinic. This role exists to help keep patient flow smooth while delivering attentive, compassionate support to patients, providers, and teammates.

Key responsibilities include rooming patients, taking and documenting vital signs, assisting with in-office procedures, preparing exam rooms, administering injections/medications as directed, performing basic clinical testing, updating the Athena EHR, and coordinating patient communication and follow-up.

Required qualifications/skills:

• Current Louisiana LPN license or Medical Assistant certification
• Physician office experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) required within 90 days of hire
• Comfort with common clinical tools (e.g., stethoscope, BP cuffs, glucometer, spirometer) and office equipment; Athena EHR familiarity preferred

Your day follows a steady clinic rhythm: you arrive, review the schedule, and help set the tone for an efficient, welcoming experience. You’ll move between patient visits, quick huddles with the care team, and timely documentation in Athena, while keeping rooms stocked and ready. Expect a mix of focused one-on-one patient interactions, brief coordination with providers and front office staff, and moments where your calm organization keeps things running smoothly. The schedule for this LPN/ CMA position is 8am–2pm Tuesdays and 7am–7pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
