Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time night shift in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN, with a rotating weekend/holiday schedule, sign-on bonus available, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice under supervision of an RN.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain safety, comfort, and improve the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.
