PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wiregrass Ranch is opening a brand-new rehab hospital this fall. The LVN/LPN will support the nursing team with patient-centered care as directed by an RN, contributing to a high-quality care environment from the start.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensed in the practicing state.
• Current BLS certification; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if required by state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report clinical data, carry out orders, and perform therapies.
• Deliver age-appropriate care per PAM Health policies.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
