PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital and seeks an LPN/LVN to join the team. The role involves providing nursing care under an RN, collecting data, executing orders, and performing therapies in a patient-centered, hospital setting.

Candidates must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the state, have current BLS, and obtain IV certification if required. Inpatient Med-Surg experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state where hospital resides.
• BLS certification current and AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if state requires.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under an RN on the unit, including data gathering and reporting.
• Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate manner.
• Ensure adherence to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.

Current BLS certification required.

BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
