Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley in Beaver County, PA is seeking an LVN/LPN to deliver nursing care under the supervision of an RN. You will gather data, report findings, and carry out orders for patients with age-appropriate needs.

Candidates must hold current LPN/LVN licensure, BLS (AHA approved within 90 days), and IV certification if required. Inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred; flexible scheduling and supportive leadership are offered.

Qualifications

• Holds current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if state regulations require it.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
