WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for a travel assignment across New York facilities. You will oversee medication administration, supervise CNAs, and ensure proper documentation and patient care.

Requirements include NY LPN licensure, BLS certification, and 1 year of LTC experience preferred. Shifts are all available with a 13-week contract and ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Current LPN licensure in State of New York.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• One year experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for timely, accurate medication administration of assigned team and concurrent required documentation.
• Performs treatments and documents progress of same as per physician orders and facility protocol.
• Assures concise, pertinent and complete resident care documentation using computerized medical record process.
• Assures the initiation of appropriate care pathway tools.
• Responsible for receiving/giving relevant reports, both written and verbal from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols.
• Assures proper monitoring of residents and relevant condition status are reported to charge nurse/supervisor and/or physicians in a timely manner.
• Completes pre-reviews of medication administration records as per facility protocols.
• Completes required MDS documentation and all related observations in a timely manner.
• Supports CNA team through assisting in direct ADL care of residents.

The below opportunity is a travel assignment that has opportunities in Auburn, Buffalo, Rochester, Clifton Springs, Geneva, Utica, NY. Depending on the travel assignment you are interested in, there will be a radius rule that must be met to qualify, which can be between 50 to 75miles.

WorkFit Medical Staffing is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses, that will provide professional patient care to long-term and post-acute care residents. You will direct and monitor the care provided by CNAs and consistently ensure proper documentation and recording is taking place. Your ability to lead is crucial in both the success of the CNAs and the care of the patients.
