Job description

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is currently seeking a dedicated Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The position requires a commitment of three shifts per week, including availability every other weekend. RNs will work within their residing county—Orange, Seminole, Osceola, or Brevard.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least one year of professional nursing experience required.
• Experience with Enteral Feeds (all types), Tracheostomy, Ventilator, Pediatrics, Catheterization, CPT, IV (central, peripheral, port - RN only), Non-invasive ventilation, and Cough assist.
