Description

Sign on Bonus $1000 ($500 paid out after 90 days and the remaining $500 at 180 days).

Core Duties
  • Direct the daily functions of nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining a positive environment.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and follow physician orders, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
  • Monitor residents' activities of daily living, encouraging participation in activities and coordinating schedules.
  • Chart nursing notes accurately, follow care plans, and report any discrepancies to the Director of Nursing.
  • Maintain supplies and cleanliness in work areas and resident care rooms.
  • Communicate with staff regarding care plans, diet changes, and shift planning.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program with a current license.
  • Experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical setting.
  • Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility, integrity, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
