Universal Health Services' Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare in Flowood, MS seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our inpatient behavioral health team. You will provide direct patient care to children, adolescents and adults, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and support safety and comfort of patients during psychiatric treatment.

The role requires an active MS nursing license, an associate degree in nursing, and 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Mississippi.
• 1 year related experience required.
• BSN preferred with 3–5 years in behavioral health.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care to children, adolescents and adults in psychiatric inpatient treatment.
• Supervise MHTs as assigned and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering quality direct patient care to children, adolescent and adult patients hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders. The LPN serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care; ensures the safety and well-being of each patient. Supervises the MHT’s as assigned. Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts and Quality Management efforts.

Qualifications

Requried: Associate in Nursing. Current license or permit to practice nursing in the state of MS. 1 year related experience.

Prefered: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Three to five years of related experience in behavioral health setting.
