We are hiring all shifts and seeking both Part Time and Full Time LPNs. Crest View offers a full continuum of care including skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and memory care in our faith-based Crest View Senior Communities. Crest View is currently offering a Sign-On Bonus for any New Nursing Staff paid out in the first 6 months of your employment. Shift Differentials for Evenings, Weekends, NOC.

Position Summary

The LPN Charge Nurse provides high quality, holistic nursing care to the residents of Crest View in accordance with nursing practice standards and healthcare regulations which govern the practice of professional nursing. He or she is responsible to the nursing administration and to lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions. He or she works in conjunction with the interdisciplinary and health care team to maintain the delivery of comprehensive nursing care to residents.

Job Qualifications

• Licensed to practice practical nursing according to the State of Minnesota Board of Nursing requirements.
• CPR Certified
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Ability to work with people and establish satisfactory relationships with residents, families, providers, and coworkers.
• Ability to use time wisely, working with frequent interruptions and minimal supervision, while prioritizing and organizing duties.
• Ability to problem solve, be proactive, and implement change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including electronic and telephone communication
  
  

Physical Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with staff, family, and residents and to use the telephone, fax, and electronic communication methods
• Must be able to document and maintain health records, with the ability to read typewritten documents.
• Must be able to perform lift 25 pounds or more, and must be able to move, assist, and/or help lift residents up to 400 pounds.
• Role requires frequent bending, squatting, stooping, sitting, walking, standing, pushing and pulling movements.
