Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, Illinois. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision, addressing physical and behavioral health needs.

Shift options include Day, Evening, or Night (8-hour shifts with rotating weekends). A high school diploma or GED and an active Illinois LPN license or the ability to obtain one are required, along with CPR certification and security clearance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Active LPN license in Illinois or ability to obtain one.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs within scope of practice.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, Illinois.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

We can offer full time Day, Evening, or Night shift (8 hour shifts with rotating weekends).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
