Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Emergency Department in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts available: Days and Nights. This 12-week assignment offers weekly pay and strong support from dedicated career specialists.

You will deliver bedside care in a high-volume ED, monitor vitals, assist with meds and IVs, support trauma and triage, and document in EMR/EHR. Requires LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certs, BLS, and 1 year ED experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• One (1) year ED experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside care in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Monitor vital signs and patient acuity changes.
• Assist with medications, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ED protocols.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in condition quickly and accurately.

Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00–$50.00 per hour.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40.00 to $50.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
