Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a fast-paced Emergency Department assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves bedside care, rapid assessment, and collaboration with RNs and physicians, with days and nights shifts available for a 12-week engagement.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications, current BLS, and at least one year of ED experience, to deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to ED protocols and

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside care in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Monitor vital signs and acuity changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams.
• Ensure infection control and ED protocol adherence.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in condition promptly.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Department: Emergency Department

Shifts Available: Days & Nights

Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00–$50.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year ED experience required.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40.00 to $50.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
