Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking an LPN/LVN to join the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift (7p–7a). You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, perform IV therapy, blood draws, and monitor patients in a high-volume ED, ensuring safety and timely interventions.

The role requires an LPN/LVN licensure, current BLS, and IV/BW certifications within 90 days. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; benefit packages are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Full-time | Nights | 7p–7a | 12-Hour Shifts

Pay: $27.00 to $30.75

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED). Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), this role supports urgent and emergent patient care, ensuring patient safety, rapid response, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.

3.IV certificationandBlood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.

4.Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

5.Work experience in health care preferred.

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.00 to $30.75.
