Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - ECC Emergency Care

Position Overview

Amsterdam Nursing Home is actively hiring LPN Team Members for all shifts at our Skilled Nursing Facility in New York City. The base rate is $35.38, with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts. Non-union pay is $45/hr. We recently increased our rates! $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time positions. We welcome new graduates and are now hiring straight to the union.

Responsibilities

• Collecting information from new residents for admission
• Recording health details, including vitals and temperature
• Administering medications and injections as needed
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be required
• Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitoring food and liquid intake and output

Requirements

• Valid NY State LPN license in good standing
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
