Position Details

• Location: Carteret County Jail
• Position: Full-Time LPN
• Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift Rotation, 6 am - 6 pm, with Alternating Weekends
• Benefits: Sign-on & Retention Bonuses

Responsibilities

1. Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, under Physician/Provider supervision.
2. Administer prescribed medications according to nursing standards and correctional regulations.
3. Follow through with established treatment plans.
4. Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking skills.
