Job summary

Pinnacle Point Wellness & Rehabilitation in Riverside, Missouri is hiring a full-time Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a compassionate care team. As an LPN, you will administer medications, monitor residents, document care in the EMR, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and physicians to support resident comfort, safety, and quality of life while adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current, active Missouri LPN license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or related settings preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Passion for resident-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions within your scope of practice

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting

• Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions within your scope of practice

• Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) or physician

• Perform nursing assessments and assist with developing and updating individualized care plans

• Accurately document resident care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Promote resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and regulations

• Participate in infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

• Current, active Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing

• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, assisted living, or hospital nursing is preferred but not required

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Passion for providing exceptional, resident-centered care
