Job summary

Riverbrook Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support short term rehabilitation and long-term care services. The LPN will work with the Unit Director to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met, and oversee daily unit operations per shift.

Qualified candidates must graduate from an approved LPN program and hold current licensure.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
• Current licensure as a Practical Nurse by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred.

Position Summary

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
