Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking licensed practical nurses (LPNs) for the PM shift to join our care team. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time roles, with flexible scheduling and referral bonus options available.

The LPN will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, and ensure high-quality resident care in accordance with state and federal regulations. North Carolina licensure is required or compact licensure that allows practicing in NC.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid LPN license in NC or a compact license.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• PM shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise CNAs in day-to-day activities.
• Pass medications and complete assessments and treatments.
• Document services and assist with activities of daily living as needed.

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained. This position involves passing medication and completing assessments and treatments, as well as documenting the provision of these services and occasionally participating in activities of daily living care or assisting the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

The ideal candidate would have long-term care experience, a positive attitude and bedside manner, and a love for working with people.The candidate must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license that allows you to practice in North Carolina.
