• Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
• Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
• Shift: 4 - Mixed Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America)
• Cost Center: 71000 - 0123 CSS

Major Responsibilities

1. Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status, including history-taking, medication reconciliation, vital signs, and documentation.
2. Provide and supervise patient care on the unit.
3. Monitor medication administration and consult with prescribers.
4. Coordinate care and referrals as prescribed.
5. Evaluate patient progress with team members.
6. Promote adherence to treatment protocols and patient education.
7. Facilitate wellness and psychoeducational groups.
8. Maintain electronic medical records accurately daily.
9. Assist RNs and offer nursing consultations during emergencies.
10. Coordinate care with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other professionals.

Standard Responsibilities

1. Follow departmental policies and participate in meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
2. Maintain safety and professionalism standards.
3. Ensure reliable attendance.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

License/Certification/Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Successful CORI background check.

Experience/Skills

• Proficiency in electronic documentation compliant with regulations.
• Effective communication with clients and staff.
• Preferred: 1 year of nursing experience, knowledge of mental health and substance abuse nursing.
