Job summary

Saline Memorial Clinics, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic float team in Benton, AR. This PRN role follows a days schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting RN-led care across clinic units.

You will assess patients, administer treatments, document care, assist with plans of care, and help patients with daily activities while maintaining safety and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
  • License: Current LPN to practice in the state.
  • Certifications: BLS required
  • Previous Clinic Experience Required

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients by collecting data for RN analysis.
  • Perform plan of care interventions including wound care; may administer medication.
  • Document patient care provided.
  • Assist RN with development of plan of care.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
  • Monitor, document and communicate patient status with RN/doctor/family.

Join our team where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Physicians. You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.


How You'll Contribute


A Clinic LPN who excels in this role:



  • Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.

  • Documents patient care provided.

  • Assists RN with development of plan of care.

  • Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

  • Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.

  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.

  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
