Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Rehabilitation unit. The role is full-time with night shifts (3x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The Rehabilitation unit comprises 17 beds and focuses on direct patient care using the nursing process, reporting to the Department Director/Manager.

Applicants should hold a current state RN license and a BSN from an accredited nursing school. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/Handle with Care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and identify their needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

More About Our Team

Our Rehabilitation unit is 17-beds, and our team provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

How You'll Contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• BLS Required
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred
• One year of experience preferred
