Job Description

• Shift: 7PM-11PM (3-4 shifts per week)
• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents, including all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May oversee clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds or infection control) under the director's guidance.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in a resident’s health and document appropriately.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain communication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents, preserving equipment, and practicing safe procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse’s License in the practicing state.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in senior care or related fields.
• Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dedicated, compassionate, and energetic attitude.
