Job description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Assisted Living 7PM-11PM Part-time

Seasons Retirement Community is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our assisted living facility, working part-time from 7PM to 11PM.

Responsibilities
  1. Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
  2. Assist with the admission process, including assessments and documentation for new residents.
  3. Develop and update acute and long-term care or service plans.
  4. Track clinical information such as wounds or infection control under the direction of the director.
  5. Provide health-related consultation within the community.
  6. Notify physicians and family members of changes in residents' health, ensuring proper documentation.
  7. Respond promptly to emergencies.
  8. Maintain communication with all departments and staff.
  9. Conduct educational meetings for residents and staff.
  10. Ensure confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
  11. Attend required training, in-service sessions, and staff meetings.
  12. Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents and preserving equipment.
Qualifications
  • Valid LPN or Vocational Nurse license in the practicing state.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience in senior care or related fields preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compassionate, dedicated, and energetic attitude.
