Job summary

White Springs Senior Living in Warrenton, VA, is seeking a licensed practical nurse to lead medication management and resident care in our Assisted Living community. The role focuses on leadership, safety, and compassionate care for residents.

You will supervise Resident Assistants, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality ADL support while maintaining strong communication with physicians and care teams. PRN hours offer scheduling flexibility within a family-style environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum age 21.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a senior living environment.
• Strong leadership instincts and a genuine passion for senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications per physician orders and state regulations.
• Ensure timely medication administration and help coordinate resident prescription refills.
• Communicate directly with physicians and healthcare providers on medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) - bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Respond promptly to resident emergency call systems.
• Supervise, support, and mentor Resident Assistants (RAs), fostering a positive team culture.
• Step in to support Resident Assistant duties as needed.
