The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the delivery of safe, quality patient care under the direction of a physician. The LPN is also a member of a designated care team and collaborates with team members in achieving goals.
Position Purpose:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Adult Medicine provides direct patient care and clinical support in a busy outpatient setting focused on adult and geriatric populations. Duties include administering medications and vaccines, performing EKGs, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate electronic health records. Works closely with providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated care and supports patients with education and follow-up instructions.
