Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois. The LPN provides holistic nursing care under the direction of RNs and medical staff, with a night shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. and rotating weekends.

We offer $4/hour differentials on evenings & $3/hour differentials on nights, with an additional $1/hour on weekends.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Schedule: Full-time Night Shift, 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.

The schedule includes rotating weekends. When Saturday and Sunday are worked, the following Monday is scheduled off. When Saturday and Sunday are off, the following Wednesday is scheduled off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
