Job summary

Florissant Valley Health & Rehab is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses for FT and PT Night shifts from 7pm to 7am. We offer a $8,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates, competitive pay, shift differential, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing.
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications.
• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents.
• Documents that treatment as required.
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner.
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
