This position is responsible for providing licensed nursing services to residents, following the guidelines provided by Senior Lifestyle Corporation. It reports to the Director of Nursing/Health and Wellness Director and may supervise other staff members.

Job Responsibilities

1. Shift: 7AM-7PM
2. Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and company guidelines.
3. Assist with admissions, including assessments and documentation.
4. Develop and update acute and long-term care or service plans.
5. Track clinical information (e.g., wounds, infection control) as directed.
6. Provide health-related consultation within the community.
7. Notify physicians and families of health changes and document appropriately.
8. Respond promptly to emergencies.
9. Maintain communication with all departments and staff.
10. Conduct educational meetings for residents and staff.
11. Ensure confidentiality of resident information.
12. Attend training, in-service, and staff meetings.
13. Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in senior care or related fields.
• Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dedicated, compassionate, and energetic.
